Iwama School

Iwama Ryu North West is more than just a martial arts or activity club. The aim is to educate young people and to help them to develop positive life skills. Punctuality, honesty, self repect, respect for others, trust, spirit, discipline, determination, hard work, fun, enjoyment, new friend, new skills.........the list goes on. These are just some of the qualities being transferred to all our students. Iwama Ryu North West strive for excellence in all members both young and old. We run our classes in a strict but fun way so students can learn at their own pace. There is no place here for ego and selfishness. Iwama Ryu North West is more of an extension to your normal family. Everyone gets on well and training is fun. Strong, disciplined martial arts training is very positive for everyone who takes part. It develops confidence, increases awareness and strengthens both mind and body.
